Advocat Inc. provides long-term care services to nursing home patients in eight states, primarily in the Southeast and Southwest United States through its subsidiary, Diversicare Management Services Co. Diversicare operates skilled nursing care facilities in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and West Virginia. We provide quality care for patients requiring a high level of skilled nursing care and rehabilitation therapy. Our objective is to become the provider of choice of health care and related services to the elderly in the communities in which we operate.

Advocat Inc. became a public company in May of 1994; however, the Company’s nursing home operational history began in the early 1980s.
